Ephesians 5:15-17 (NLT)
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

The Word of God warns that in difficult and stormy times, one must live wisely, listening carefully to the Lord’s alerts and wise counsel. In the midst of even the worst of circumstances, God will give you opportunities to live in victory. You can choose to gripe and complain about inflation, insecurity, illness or emotional disappointment if you wish, but God wants you to choose faith instead, to understand the times in which you are living and from that vantage point to seek Him. Because every day, on the good days and the bad, He stands ready to meet you and guide you through the storm so that you come out unscathed on the other side.
Yes, seek God every time, and at all times.
Pray this way: Father God, I understand and believe that by living wisely according to Your counsel I will be able to take advantage of the opportunities that lie before me every day, and especially in the worst of times. Teach me your ways, Lord, so that I know what to do. I ask You in the name of Jesus, Amen!
