Make Room for the New

Make Room for the New

Ephesians 4:21-22 (NLT)

Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him, throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

You are very close to starting a new year, and that makes this a good time to let the old go––ridding yourself of everything harmful in your life that is holding you back––and let the new come.

It is time to change your old way of thinking that is preventing you from being productive in order to make room in your heart for the things that will accelerate your productivity. Bad thinking and bad behavior keep the good from coming to you and the best from rising up in you. Because of that, you will need to make your heart ready to receive everything that brings blessing and satisfaction.

Pray like this: Father God, according to Your counsel, I empty myself of my negative manner of thinking and wayward behavior in order to make room to receive every good thing from heaven that You have in store for me. In the Name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
