Love Is The Greatest

Love Is The Greatest

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (NLT)

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

No one ever penned a more complete or eloquent piece of poetry about love than the Apostle Paul did here.

Love is the most powerful and constructive force in the world, even greater than faith.

You may achieve the greatest successes in life, but if they are not impregnated with love, they are useless and short-lived.

The origin of this love so pure is God, who gave His very best—His Son, Jesus Christ—so that everyone who believes in Him can have eternal life and receive the ability to love like that here on earth. Love was the source, and love is the fruit. Receive it today!

You may want to pray something like this: Lord, I ask for and receive the pure love You offer me through Your Son, the Lord Jesus. Fill my heart with it until it overflows. I want to love and fill everything I do with it. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
