Let There Be Light!

Let There Be Light!

2 Corinthians 4:6-7 (NLT)

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.  We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

The Apostle Paul tells us that before Jesus came into our life, we did things blindly because we could not see clearly; but upon receiving His presence into our lives we can see everything more clearly. That treasure is contained in imperfect vessels, because we are nothing but clay. But when we listen to His counsel and put it into practice, everything begins to shine brightly, the work of our hands is perfected and it becomes evident to everyone that the power came from God, not from us. Even though we are ordinary people, we are equipped to do extraordinary things that change the world.

Receive that Light within you today and be transformed into a “brilliant” person!

Pray this way: Father God, thank You that the presence and the Words of Jesus always illuminate my life. I receive more of Him today so that there will be less of me, and everyone will see that all things work out for good because His great Power is at work. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
