Luke 1:34-37 (NLT)
Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month. For the word of God will never fail.

The Virgin Mary was amazed at the announcement she had received from the angel and asked how she would get pregnant without ever having contact with a man. The answer was simple: the Spirit of God will draw near and His power will overcome you, because with God, nothing is impossible. By faith, Mary lent God her womb, and the Savior of the world was born.
Christmas is a repeat of that announcement of hope for your life. To see extraordinary miracles, like Mary, lend God your “womb,” allow Him to overcome you with His Power and believe with full confidence that with Him everything is possible.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I believe that there is nothing impossible for You, and that is why today I draw near to You to ask that Your power overcome me so that, like Mary, Jesus will be made manifest in extraordinary ways through my life. In His mighty name I pray, Amen!
