Leaving A Legacy Of Blessing

Leaving A Legacy Of Blessing

Genesis 12:1-2 (NLT)

The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.

God gave an order to Abraham with a promise for him and all his descendants: “Leave behind the past and whatever it was that held you back. Start a new season marked by faith, and the blessing will be so great that your name will become known far and wide.”

If you are willing to leave behind your past, your failures, your mistakes, the losses suffered, the deceptions, the betrayals, this promise is also for you.

You cannot change your past, but you can change your future if you make this all-important decision in the present to begin walking down a new path of faith that will lead to a highway of blessing from the hand of God.

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I leave behind all negative thoughts and curses which have held me in bondage. I believe in Your promise and today I initiate a lifestyle of faith in order to leave a legacy of blessing. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
