Psalm 1:1-3 (NLT)
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.

A new day begins and you have many decisions to make and challenges to face. Do not look for advice just anywhere or from just anyone when you need help. Seek the advice that comes from heaven, not from earth.
Delight—find pleasure—in the principles and laws of God and follow them. Your roots will grow down deep, you will be continually nourished and whatever you do will prosper!
Pray this way: Father, thank You for Your most wise counsel. Today—the first day of the rest of my life—I decide to seek help from heaven for the challenges that arise on earth, believing that everything I undertake walking hand in hand with You will prosper. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
