Keep An Attitude of Gratitude

Keep An Attitude of Gratitude

Psalm 50:23 (NLT)

Giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

God can be honored in many ways––by praising Him, worshiping Him, humbling yourself before Him, obeying His Word, helping others in His name, being a giver and not a taker––but the Psalmist puts the spotlight on gratitude that is due Him in this passage.

Don’t go through this day without thanking God. Thank Him every time you see an opportunity. Honor Him with gratitude! Shower Him with thanksgiving.

You may want to pray something like this to get started: Father God, Thank You for this day, for my health, for my family, for my work. Thank You for everything You do for me and will do in the future. But most of all, I thank You for giving Jesus Christ to die in my place so that I could have an abundant life here and eternal life with You. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
