Jesus Prayed

Jesus Prayed

Mark 1:32-35 (NLT)

That evening after sunset, many sick and demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. The whole town gathered at the door to watch. So Jesus healed many people who were sick with various diseases, and he cast out many demons. But because the demons knew who he was, he did not allow them to speak. Before daybreak the next morning, Jesus got up and went out to an isolated place to pray.

Jesus always taught and set the example that the way to overcome the obstacles of each day was to pray in faith, believing that God would bring you the solution.

So imitate Jesus. Before starting your day’s activities, pray. Before problems have a chance to take over, pray. Before making decisions about how to resolve them when they do spring up, get alone with God, pray, and ask for His help and guidance. He will come to you.

Pray like this: Father God, I know that every day brings its own set of difficulties, so I come to You to lead me in paths of blessing and wisdom to deliver me from all evil. I ask You in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
