Irradicating Spiritual Cancer

Irradicating Spiritual Cancer

Psalm 32:5-6 (NLT)

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

Sin is a spiritual cancer that causes your spirit to deteriorate. It then proceeds to ruin your mind, make your body sick, undermine everything you undertake, and finally separates you eternally from God. Sin steals your peace during the day and disturbs your sleep at night. It becomes so dominant and overpowering that to get rid of it, you have to cut it off at the root.

Confession brings forgiveness, and forgiveness produces calm, clarity, blessing and the strength of the Presence of God that causes you to believe that everything is possible.

Pray like this: Father God, I, too, confess my sins to You. I ask You to forgive my rebelliousness and wipe away the evil in me. I repent of my bad deeds and I receive Your forgiveness. In the name of Jesus! Amen!

Have a blessed day!
