In Denial?

In Denial?

Luke 12:8-9 (NIV)

“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.”

There are different ways of denying Jesus. Peter, His disciple, denied Him publicly three times before He was crucified. Knowing how to do what is good and not doing it is also to deny Him and it is a sin. And, living in our own strength without asking for His blessing is to deny and ignore Him.

Acknowledge once again today how much you need God in your life, and do not be ashamed to declare it openly. You will find that He will also publicly display His generous blessing, His permanent care and His eternal salvation over your life.

Pray this way: Lord, I repent for the ways in which I have denied You. I acknowledge You as my Lord and my Savior. Thank You that You also declare me to be Your child and heir to Your blessings. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
