If You Don’t Slip, You Won’t Fall

If You Don’t Slip, You Won’t Fall

Psalm 94:17-19 (NLT)

Unless the Lord had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.

Crying out to God before it’s too late saves you from a lot of pain. If you avoid the slip, you will avoid the fall. If you don’t get angry, you will avoid the fight. If you avoid a bad business deal, you will avoid bankruptcy.

Yes, cry out to God while there is still time. In the face of illness, God is your healer; in the face of any loss, He is your Comforter who renews your strength and restores your joy.

You may want to pray like this: Father God, today I cry out to You, believing that Your timely help will free me from all the encroaching evil that is gathering about me. I declare You are my strength and my salvation, my song and my deliverer, and I thank You for restoring my faith and hope. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
