1 Corinthians 1:26-29 (NLT)
Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you. Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.

The culture of this world is very different from the culture of heaven. If we have to hire a person to come work for us, we ask for a resumé, academic history, areas of expertise, references, a psycho-physical exam, and on and on. God does the opposite. He does not ask you if you are fit. He trains you supernaturally for daily tasks—at your work, in your studies, in your business, in your domestic chores. Put yourself in His hands and let His hands do it through you, and your life will truly excel to the blessing of others.
Pray this way: Father God, I understand You have divine, supernatural purpose for my life in every activity and enterprise that I take on. I want to bless my generation and the ones that come after me in what I do every day. Train me up so that everything I undertake excels because Your hand is on me. I’m asking You in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
