His Hand of Blessing

His Hand of Blessing

Psalm 139:1-5 (NLT)

O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.

King David had an intimate relationship with God which he describes masterfully in this Psalm.

God wants to relate to you in the very same way, to empower you to the fullest, to meet all your needs, to bless you as you go out and as you come in.

So before you speak out or make decisions, consider just how important it is for you to acknowledge His presence and power, to seek His counsel and to ask Him to put His hand of blessing on your head, just as He did for David.

Pray like this: Father God, I thank You because every day You are keenly aware of all my thoughts and actions. I surrender myself to you throughout this day so that You will guide everything I put my hand to do. Yes, put Your hand of blessing on my head so that I will be blessing to others and bring glory to You. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
