“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

We have a tendency to adapt to the thoughts and ways of the culture around us. When everything is difficult, it may be that your mind turns negative and you cannot find the way out.
But God’s plans for your life are good. Align yourself with them. Rise up higher to seek His thoughts. Then you will be able to look at everything from heaven’s perspective, far above the paths that lead you to evil. Get to know and follow Jesus. He will lead you to victory.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I know my thoughts are not like Yours, and my ways are so inferior to Yours. As a result, the decisions I make fall short of what You have intended for me. That is why today I come to give myself to You, to follow Your path, and to seek Your thoughts. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
