Isaiah 54:7-8 (NLT)
“For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with great compassion I will take you back. In a burst of anger I turned my face away for a little while. But with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer.

Just as God did with His people, the Jews, so there are times when God may hide from us and with good reason. It may be out of righteous anger, or He may have a treasure or blessing for you. In both cases, His primary purpose and desire is for you come find Him. Like a dad playing “hide-and-go-seek” with his children, God loves to be sought after—and He loves to be found even more! Seek God every morning and not only will you have the assurance of His presence, but you will also have the blessings He has prepared for this day.
Pray like this: Father God, thank You for teaching me that You want me to seek Your presence every day. Today I open my heart and align my thoughts to dwelling in Your presence at all times and every place I am. If You are hiding, I joyfully say, “Here I come. Ready or not!” so that you can lead me the path of blessing, I ask you in the name of Jesus. Amen!
Have a blessed day!
