Matthew 9:18-19, 23-25 (NLT)
As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. “My daughter has just died,” he said, “but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her.” So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him…When Jesus arrived at the official’s home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. “Get out!” he told them. “The girl isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.” But the crowd laughed at him. After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up!

When someone dies, most think that’s the end of the story. But the father of this particular girl who died believed there were still a few chapters pending and went looking for Jesus in faith that He had power to reverse what was humanly irreversible.
If you have been hit with what seems to be an irreversible circumstance, do what this father did. Go find Jesus. Then allow Him to do for you what He did for that little girl: take you by the hand and “bring you back to life.” He is waiting to be called upon.
You may want to pray something like this: Lord, take me by the hand so that my spirit, my mind, my body, my house and my well-being will come alive today. I believe that You are the Resurrection and the Life and that whatever has “died” will be raised to new life by Your power. In Your name I pray, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
