The Word of God is a precise counsellor. If you take its advice on key points like this one, you will live an abundant and full life.
The Apostle Peter exhorts you not to gossip, not to criticize, not to speak ill of anyone (curse), not to lie, but rather to be a person that overflows with grace and blessing for others. In this way, you will invite joy into each and every day and you will know real happiness.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I am listening to the words of the Wise Counsellor You have given me, which is You Word. Today, I renounce all criticism and lies. I decide and declare that only words that will bless and build up those around me will roll off my tongue. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
