Matthew 17:25-27. (NLT)
Jesus asked him, “What do you think, Peter? Do kings tax their own people or the people they have conquered?” “They tax the people they have conquered,” Peter replied. “Well, then,” Jesus said, “the citizens are free! However, we don’t want to offend them, so go down to the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth of the first fish you catch, and you will find a large silver coin. Take it and pay the tax for both of us.”

Peter was a fisherman with great experience, but he never imagined that God’s supernatural power could connect with his natural strengths and abilities.
As you take on your daily activities and face your own challenges and problems, use every ounce of the natural ability God gave you. Always give it your best. But also learn to seek the supernatural help of God, so that He can take you even higher to see the invisible and conquer the impossible.
You may want to pray like this: Father God, I believe You have what I need for this moment and something more. Open my eyes to see it, and give me the strength to conquer it. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
