Psalm 107:33-38, 43 (NLT)
He changes rivers into deserts, and springs of water into dry, thirsty land. He turns the fruitful land into salty wastelands, because of the wickedness of those who live there. But he also turns deserts into pools of water, the dry land into springs of water. He brings the hungry to settle there and to build their cities. They sow their fields, plant their vineyards, and harvest their bumper crops…Those who are wise will take all this to heart; they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.

Because of sin, a person, a family, a territory or a nation can fall under a curse and the judgment of God. The evidence is that what was once prosperous, fertile and healthy becomes poor, dry and sickly.
But this Psalm hastens to declare that the very same God who judges also stands ready to revert all of those consequences and bring restoration. The Psalm ends by stating that when the wise take this truth seriously, they will see the faithful hand of God throughout as their heritage.
Come back to God. Seek Him with a whole heart, and He will return blessing upon your life, your family, your household and, yes, even your nation.
Pray like this: Lord, I believe Your Word and I receive Your admonition to be wise in all Your counsel. I repent for having lost my way many times. I ask You to cut off all curses that have come as a result, and bring me once again into the place of blessing. Bless and restore my nation today, I pray, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
Have a blessed day!
