Give Me That Mountain

Give Me That Mountain

Joshua 14:10-12 (NLT)

“Now, as you can see, the Lord has kept me alive and well as he promised for all these forty-five years since Moses made this promise—even while Israel wandered in the wilderness. Today I am eighty-five years old. I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then. So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me. You will remember that as scouts we found the descendants of Anak living there in great, walled towns. But if the Lord is with me, I will drive them out of the land, just as the Lord said.”

Many times when we do not see the results we had hoped for, we get discouraged and lose hope. However, this man named Caleb, after 45 years never lost his strength, because those who wait on God get it renewed permanently and become a testimony to His power and glory.

So don’t give up. Keep seeking God every day until your dreams come true because even if it takes a long time, God will give you strength to conquer your “mountains” and life to enjoy the victories.

Pray this way: Lord, I believe that You will fulfill Your promises in my life, and I believe that by waiting on You, I will receive new strength until I see every victory won. In the name of Jesus. Amen!

Have a blessed day!
