Matthew 6:2-4 (NLT)
When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.

This is a spiritual law: if you seek to be praised or rewarded for your good deeds, you will not receive more than that. But if you do them in private, simply out of love for the needy, God will always reward you publicly.
Apply this truth to your life and you will never lack its blessings.
Pray like this: Father God, I decide to act selflessly, out of love, without any ulterior motives so that others can see how You reward those that do. And I thank You, because You will also take care of supplying for my own needs. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
