Genesis 41:51-52 (NLT)
Joseph named his older son Manasseh, for he said, “God has made me forget all my troubles and everyone in my father’s family.” Joseph named his second son Ephraim, for he said, “God has made me fruitful in this land of my grief.”

The story of Joseph, after his being despised by his brothers, sold as a slave and unjustly imprisoned in Egypt, finally ends in triumph, because he never stopped trusting God. He stood firm in his dreams and became the most influential person in Pharoah’s empire.
Without denying the affliction, the disease, the needs and the pain you are suffering, do not fill your thoughts with them. Set your gaze on God and believe in his promises, because he will raise you up to a place of honor and influence, just as he did with Joseph.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I confess that I spend too much of my time dwelling on the problems I have. Today I decide to fix my gaze on you, on your salvation, believing that you will bring me into a place of great victory and influence, for your glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
