Fear And Faith

Fear And Faith

Psalm 34:4-6 (NLT)

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.

Fear and faith have something in common: they both require that you believe in something you cannot see––something that has not happened yet.

Fear is a negative belief; faith is positive. Fear tells you that this symptom is the sure sign of a serious illness. God tells you, “I am your Healer.” Fear causes you to see your business as a failure, or that the job opportunity you open to you will never materialize. Faith strengthens you to believe that, even in the midst of crisis, God will save you from all your difficulties.

The one you feed is the one that will control your mind and occupy your spirit. Today, choose to feed your faith and stop feeding your fears. Everything is possible with God!

You may want to pray something like this: Lord, today I renounce all fear in my life. Instead, I feed on Your promises. I choose to meditate on them every day and guard them in my heart. I look to You for help and receive the radiant joy You promise. Thank You. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
