Facing The Insurmountable

Facing The Insurmountable

2 Chronicles 14:9-12 (NLT)

Once an Ethiopian named Zerah attacked Judah with an army of 1,000,000 men and 300 chariots. They advanced to the town of Mareshah, so Asa deployed his armies for battle in the valley north of Mareshah. Then Asa cried out to the Lord his God, “O Lord, no one but you can help the powerless against the mighty! Help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O Lord, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!” So the Lord defeated the Ethiopians in the presence of Asa and the army of Judah, and the enemy fled.

In the same way that king was outnumbered and outgunned, you may also be feeling your problems are insurmountable, your resources are insufficient, the illness is incurable and the strife in your family is irresolvable.

If you feel like that king, then do what the king did: stand up to your problem and face it squarely, cry out to the Lord in faith and do not waver. God will hear you and give you the victory.

Pray like this: Father God, I know that for You a small problem and a huge one are both the same. So I place my life in Your hands and I stand up to my challenges today with faith. With You, all things are possible! In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
