1 Chronicles 11:4-5 (NLT)
Then David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (or Jebus, as it used to be called), where the Jebusites, the original inhabitants of the land, were living. The people of Jebus taunted David, saying, “You’ll never get in here!” But David captured the fortress of Zion, which is now called the City of David.

The story goes that the Jebusites were an extremely ruthless people that no one wanted to take on. Even though he had been threatened that he, too, would never be victorious, David knew he had to overcome the taunt in order to grow. So he faced the challenge with determination.
You will always encounter obstacles and voices that taunt you to stop you from moving forward. It may be your health, or family issues, or financial problems. They “talk” to you, saying: “You can’t win this one.”
But you be like David. Move forward in the strength of the Lord and you will conquer the impossible.
You may want to pray like this: Father God, today I choose to believe that with You everything is possible. I will persist in confronting my problems in full faith that I will have victory. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
