Everything Lost Is Rescued

Everything Lost Is Rescued

John 11:25 (NLT)

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”

Two sisters, Mary and Martha, were limiting the power of God by the way they thought. They speculated that if Jesus had been there when their brother Lazarus fell ill, he would not have died. They thought that because death had come, it was too late for anything to be done.

Like them, you, too, may think that it is too late to achieve a dream or initiate a new enterprise. In your mind, what was lost is irretrievable, that disease is irreversible and an addiction is invincible.

But Jesus is of another “opinion.” He “believes” He is today what He was in that day—the Resurrection and the Life. He proved to be just that when later on He died and rose again for you and every person to give us a new life. The resurrection power of Jesus is current and available to this very day. He can give life to everything you have given up for lost.

You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I believe that Jesus gave His life to save mine, to rescue everything that was lost and restore all that was ruined. I declare by faith that everything I have given up hope for is reborn and I reclaim it because He is the Resurrection and the Life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
