Jeremiah 18:1-4 (NIV)
This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.” So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel. But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.

This is a message that God passes on to every generation: He wants your life to be better, of the highest quality, and most useful in the place where you are. He wants to do something new and unique with you, just as the potter desired to do with that vessel.
For that to take place, He crushes what is useless–whatever takes the shine off or has the potential to ruin your life–and then mixes in some of the same material now turned to dust to mold a new vessel that is pleasing to Him.
Today is the day to place the hurtful and harmful things in you in the hands of the Great Potter. He will turn sorrow into joy and pain into vitality.
Pray this way: Lord, I understand Your message to me today, and I realize that this Word is for me. I repent for having resisted the way You have desired to mold me. Today I put my whole life into Your hands for You to begin again with me so that Your plan for my life is fulfilled completely. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
