Don’t Lose Out

Don’t Lose Out

Psalm 130:1-4 (NLT)

From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer. Lord, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? But you offer forgiveness,  that we might learn to fear you.

Sin separates you from God and His blessings. But being the Father of mercy that He is, He neither wants to lose you nor does He want you to lose any of the blessings He has earmarked for you. That is why He offers you His matchless forgiveness.

So give up doing whatever you want. That kind of life leads only to despair. Ask God for His forgiveness for your sins, and put yourself in agreement with Him about living according to His will.

You may want to pray like this: Father God, I acknowledge that I have sinned against You, and from my own despair I ask for Your forgiveness. I want to live to do Your will and You will along. Help me and bless my life, I pray. In the name of the Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
