Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Moses had written God’s instructions on tables for all the people to obey. Here God is reminding Joshua, Israel’s new leader, that by just fulfilling what is written would make his nation prosper.
This message is still valid today, and more necessary than ever for our families to be strong and our nations to endure. If you listen to God and obey Him, if you are strong and courageous, if you do not give in to fear or discouragement, God guarantees that whatever you undertake will prosper. Every day remember His Word and strengthen yourself in it. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go!
Pray like this: Father, thank You for Your Words. I want to obey them and rely on them, in full faith that You will be with me so that everything I undertake will be prospered and my city and nation will be blessed. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
