Destruction to the Destroyer

Destruction to the Destroyer

Matthew 15:21-22 (NLT)

Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely.”

The Word of God teaches us here what the works of the devil look like, how he seeks to torment your life, disrupt your relationships with others, utterly destroy your well-being, and even tempt you to commit aberrational deeds.

But God sent his Son to earth to undo all the works of the devil—to rid you of everything that torments you so that you can be truly free (see 1 John 3:8). So imitate this woman. Seek Jesus’ help so that you may get your spiritual freedom back.

Pray this way: Father God, thank You for opening my spiritual eyes to understand how darkness works and the power You have over all of it. Free me from evil! Undo every demonic activity in my life and family, today and every day. I ask it in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
