John 8:4-7 (NLT)
“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. The law of Moses says to stone her. What do you say?” They were trying to trap him into saying something they could use against him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”

The end of this story is that the woman was saved from being stoned because all who held the stones had also sinned.
It is easier to see the weakness of another than it is to acknowledge your own sin and ask God for forgiveness. In fact, our very own guilt leads us to criticize and accuse others to cover up our own shortcomings.
Jesus did not come to condemn. Everything He did was done to save you, and today He gives you another opportunity to repent. Humbly ask for forgiveness. Forgive those who have sinned against you, and never criticize and accuse again.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I thank You for being so merciful and full of grace, and taking advantage of this opportunity, I want to ask You to forgive me for my sin. Today, I also forgive those who have wronged me so that both they and I can live freely in Your grace. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
