1 Peter 5:10 (NLT)
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.

God never promised you a rose-strewn path in life, but He does assure you that the suffering is temporary, that He will sustain and restore you, strengthen and affirm you.
So do not dwell on the present suffering. Rather, set your heart and mind on the glory that is to come to you in the future.
Pray this way: Lord, I believe in Your Word that assures me that by Your hand this difficult time will not last forever. I stand firmly on the solid foundation which is Jesus, and I await with faith the fulfillment of this Promise. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
