People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

No one foresaw that a pandemic like Covid-19 would sow so much fear, death and economic devastation across the globe.
There is a tendency in mankind to choose to play deaf and dumb when talk arises about impending difficult times. Much less do most people consider that everyone, sooner or later, in the blink of an eye will be standing in God’s Presence giving account for their lives. There will be no time to repent and no time for a change of heart.
You have only this very moment. This is your time––time to settle your accounts with God; time to know that even in the middle of a crisis or calamity, His peace can fill your heart; time to experience His protection over your life and your home. Yes! Make that decision right now.
Pray like this: Lord, I receive Your counsel, and right now I come to You to settle my accounts. I repent of my wayward ways. Forgive all my sins and shortcomings. Cleanse my life. Lord Jesus, come into my life. Baptize me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose to follow You the rest of my life. In Your name I pray, Amen!
