Luke 6:46-49 (NLT)
“So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say? I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to my teaching, and then follows it. It is like a person building a house who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built. But anyone who hears and doesn’t obey is like a person who builds a house right on the ground, without a foundation. When the floods sweep down against that house, it will collapse into a heap of ruins.”

The daily wisdom of God is designed to strengthen your life and affirm your ways. If you put them into practice, when difficult times, come you will remain standing. They may be difficult to accept, but that is because the culture of men is contrary to the culture of of heaven, and the end is catastrophic. So listen and obey God’s advice and it will prove to be solid and firm when the worst of times come. Pray this way: Lord, thank You for Your daily words to me. I admit that by following the advice of this world I have not done well. Today I choose to listen and obey the sound counsel that comes from You and discard the bad counsel and advise of the world around me. In the name of Jesus, Amen! Have a blessed day!
