Psalm 92:1-2 (NLT)
A psalm. A song to be sung on the Sabbath Day.
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening.

When you are going through moments of pain, scarcity, disease, or injustice, you find very little reason to give thanks to God. Truthfully, you even forget to be grateful when everything is going well.
This Psalm boldly declares that it is good to thank God because it brings you enormous benefits: it brightens your soul, rejuvenates your body, changes your character, softens your heart, deepens your relationships, opens your spiritual eyes to see in faith what you cannot yet perceive and brings joy to everything and everyone in your sphere of influence.
Be thankful! (It’s an order!)
You may want to pray like this: Father God, thank You for this new day, for Your fidelity, for Your love, for Your care and protection, for Your provision and sustenance, for the opportunities and open doors that you place before me. I am blessed and full of praise for what You are doing in my life. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
