Psalm 31:1,14-15 (NLT)
O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right…But I am trusting you, O Lord, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands.

We all have plans for the future and we want to see them realized “asap,” like whimsical kids hounding our parents for treats.
However, on the journey to realizing your dreams, problems and difficulties pop up relentlessly and threaten to shut everything down. But don’t get impatient. What God has prepared for your life will arrive on time––in His time––and not a second late. Your business will survive. You will get the job you were looking for. Your body will receive healing. Your marriage will be restored even better than it ever was and your family will be blessed. In the meantime, wait confidently in faith, assured that your future, like King David’s, is secure in God.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, thank You for reminding me that my times and my future are completely in Your hands. Therefore, I can live with complete confidence, even when my current circumstances tell me otherwise. You are faithful. You will not be disgraced. You are my God! In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
