Isaiah 38:2-5 (NLT)

When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single-mindedly, always doing what pleases you.” Then he broke down and wept bitterly. Then this message came to Isaiah from the Lord: “Go back to Hezekiah and tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your ancestor David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. I will add fifteen years to your life.”

King Hezekiah had little time left to live. But he cried out to God and the answer came.

Your prayers and your tears are valuable to God. The things that bring you anguish and sorrow are already on His mind. Don’t hesitate to put the burdens as well as the desires of your heart before Him—in the morning when you get up, during your activities of the day and in the evening when you go to bed—and He will answer you as well.

Pray this way: Lord, I need Your salvation and your help. Thank You for listening to my prayer and my cry. I’m asking You, trusting in the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
