Act Like a Kid

Act Like a Kid

Matthew 7:9-11 (NLT)

“You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.”

Jesus was teaching his disciples to pray, and he told them to ask with certainty, in full faith that they would receive. Therefore, you also should ask God with boldness, just like children who cling to their parents, pleading until they get what they are asking for, and He will give you the healing, peace, rest, provision, wisdom, forgiveness of sin you need, and eternal life. He will never give you a stone in place of bread!

Pray this way: Lord, I believe You are my Father, and therefore I come boldly into Your presence like a child to ask Your blessing on my life. I do it with the complete assurance that You will answer and give me what is best for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen!

Have a blessed day!
