Exodus 15:26-27 (NLT)
He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you.” After leaving Marah, the Israelites traveled on to the oasis of Elim, where they found twelve springs and seventy palm trees. They camped there beside the water.

After having transformed the bitter waters into sweet, God reminds the Israelites that if they would continue to listen and obey Him they would receive much more, and as a proof of this he guided them to an oasis with multiple springs and abundant shade in the middle of that desert.
If you seek God when you are in need, if you obey Him when the blessing comes, He will guide you as well to greater abundance and protect you from the plagues you are facing today. “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
You may want to pray like this: Father God, thank You for renewing Your mercy toward me every day. I also renew my choice to follow and obey You today. I believe that You are God, my Healer and The One who blesses me abundantly, even in the midst of my “desert.” Thank You so much. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
