Matthew 7:17-20 {NLT}
A good tree produces good fruit, and a bad tree produces bad fruit. A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. So every tree that does not produce good fruit is chopped down and thrown into the fire. Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions.

As you begin moving toward your goals this year, stop and ask God to transform you into a good “tree” so you can be very fruitful.
Before associating or making alliances with others, observe their behavior, watch their actions, take note of the fruit their lives are producing. And if you have already entered into an agreement, ask God to give you wisdom from above to help your colleague. Your blessing can even cut off a curse.
You may want to pray something like this: Father God, I ask You to make me a new person so that the fruit of my life may be good and abundant. Give me wisdom in every decision I have to make in this new year. Open my eyes to see. Enlighten my mind to understand. Guide my steps to do your will. I ask it all in the name of Jesus, Amen!
Have a blessed day!
