Looking for volunteers for our Easter kids camps in Ballymun. We have 200 kids (ages 5-14) & 35 leaders at our camps. Looking for a few more volunteers. Camp activities are sports (football, basketball, games & fitness section), dance & arts / crafts. We host a family fun festival on Monday 12-2 & then our camps are Tues- Fri 11-3.30 daily. Academy has a new look this year, as we prepare to launch our brand new program! Our Academy program was created with the aim to inspire spiritual growth and personal development. It offers a chance to work alongside a team who is passionate about seeing people won for Jesus across Ireland. Included in this new program are 4 different streams to choose from, each designed to enhance and develop the God-given gifts of our Academy students.

Engage: focused on ‘out and about’, ‘hands on’ youth and kids ministry.
Create: for those interested in developing skills in all things creative: media, graphics, and socials. Reach: based out of our missional hub, HOPE Chapel Lane; receive training in evangelism and outreach, and become involved in teaching and prayer.
Virtual: a unique way to get involved in Academy, no matter where you are on the island of Ireland. It is about equipping you to evangelise through your local church.

Come join us! Here at OM Ireland, we have a host of various opportunities that you can be a part of!

If you are a young adult looking to grow in your faith, come join us for the Reach programme. This is a 5-month discipleship experience, which will be from February to June 2023. During this time, you will be trained and mentored while being immersed in cross-cultural community and ministry. 

If you are interested in joining in a short-term ministry opportunity, come join OM in the UK for the Commonwealth Games in late July, early August. This is an incredible short-term opportunity to share God’s love, while serving with an international team alongside local churches.

If you are a student, another way that you could be a part of what is happening in OM is to join as an intern. We have openings for interns in the areas of evangelism, hospitality, finance, HR and communications and marketing. These internships could be anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months, or even up to a year!

WHO IS IT FOR

We are excited to be offering this 2021/22 internship for someone who is a passionate follower of Jesus and wants to use their skills within the Christian charitable world.

WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT THIS?

It will give the successful candidate the ability to use their existing skills whilst importantly learning new cutting edge skills in AI, Data, Technology, App development and social media with a kingdom focus. You will be dropped into an exciting start up environment, and be supported by experienced business and ministry leaders.

WHAT’S IT GOING TO FEEL LIKE FOR YOU

This internship will feel like working in a digital startup with the successful candidate helping shape a new App and take new ideas from concept to completion powered by technology and data.

The position will be working alongside the founder and Executive Director of GoSOW Matthew Kennedy and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the vision and future direction. 

WHAT SUPPORT WILL YOU GET?

This is a non salaried role however there is a monthly £100 living allowance and a daily food allowance will be available in Owl & Pussycat Café in Hillsborough. A £1000 allowance towards study will also be available for anyone wanting to undertake part time study alongside the role.

The role will be based in Hillsborough, Co. Down though a mix of remote working and travel throughout Ireland and further afield will be involved and any travel will be subsidised. Having your own transport will be important for the role.

DISCIPLES is an authentic opportunity for Christians aged 15-25 to grow in faith as they seek and serve Jesus with others in their local area.

Young people will take part in:

Monthly gatherings in our centres or online where they will SEEK Jesus together, celebrate what God is doing and equip themselves for the journey ahead.

Volunteering and Ministry Opportunities allowing them to SERVE Jesus together with their friends and have the opportunity to join with the work God is doing in their local area.

Mentoring, encouraging them to meet with an older Christian to journey alongside them as they grow using the WALK WITH ME programme.

This programme will be running across all 6 regions of Exodus and so far we have had a total of 167 young people signed up to take part during the next 8 months.
